How to set custom data overlay pages

AV-30 – How to set custom data overlay pages (Video Transcript)

The following instructions will guide you on how to set custom pages on the AI and DG view of the AV-30:

On either the AI or DG display, press the right button to toggle between pages
Customize a page by pressing the left button 1X and use the center knob to rotate to the desired data field (black box will indicate desired data field).
Press the center knob 1X to select the desired data field. Then rotate the center knob to choose a data point to display (e.g., OAT, DALT, TAS). Press the center knob 1X to save your selection.
Press the right button to switch pages and repeat these steps.

These steps can also be repeated on the DG display.

How To Change Interface Style

Follow the instructions below, in order to change the interface style on an AV-30:

Push the left button 2X.
Rotate the center knob until you reach “UI STYLE” and press the center knob 1X. This will turn the font color from teal/blue to magenta.
Use the center knob to rotate and select: Legacy, EFIS, or Vintage styles. Then press the center knob 1X to select that style.
Press the left button 1X to save and exit the style menu settings.

How To Switch Between Display Views

Follow the instructions below, in order to switch between display views on an AV-30:

To switch between AI, DG, and Traffic, you must press and hold the center knob for 3 seconds
- NOTE: Traffic Display requires AV-Link
The Transponder Control page is accessible from all display modes. Press the right button 3X or until you reach the Reversionary AI page.
- NOTE: Transponder Control Functionality requires tailBeaconX or a supported transponder

How To Customize AI Display

Follow the instructions below in order to customize the AI Display on the AV-30:

On the AI screen, press the left button 1X on the AV-30.
Rotate the center knob to highlight and select a data field
- A black box will indicate desired data field and there are 9 editable fields.
Push the center knob 1X to edit the highlighted field.
Rotate the center knob to select the desired data set (e.g., G LOAD, V TREND, -NONE-).
Press the center knob 1X to save selection.

How To Customize DG Display

Follow the instructions below in order to customize the DG Display on the AV-30:

On the DG screen, press the left button 1X.
Then, rotate the center knob to highlight the desired data field (there are 6 editable fields).
Press the center knob to edit the highlighted data field.
Rotate the center knob to select the desired data set (e.g., TAS, OAT, G LOAD, HDG).
Press the center knob 1X to save the selection.
Press the left button to select “DONE” and exit menu.
