AV-Link PMA Utilities

The uAvionix AV-Link PMA is a compact Wi-Fi module for the uAvionix AV-30 panel display that adds wireless connectivity, displays live ADS-B traffic, and enables wireless firmware updates. Some of the core functions include the ability to live stream and show real-time ADS-B traffic on the AV-30 from supported portable receivers like the ForeFlight Sentry, Sentry Mini/Plus, echoUAT, or GDL90-compliant Wi-Fi units. The AV-Link PMA also provides CO data overlays and warning alerts directly on the display if a compatible Sentry receiver is linked. Additionally, it lets you update the AV-30 firmware wirelessly via Wi-Fi from a computer or share data updates across connected units. The uAvionix AV-30-C software simulator is a downloadable Windows application that lets users explore and test the interface, settings, and 12-in-1 flight display functions. The simulator replicates the physical hardware's interface to test primary attitude, slip, directional gyro (DG), and angle of attack (AoA) indicators. Additionally, it allows users to practice changing display layouts, customizable colors, fonts, and data fields without needing access to an actual aircraft panel. Lastly, it helps users learn how to operate the knobs, buttons, and GPS navigational data overlays before flying with the physical unit.
