uAvionix ping20Si is an ultra-lightweight Mode S ADS-B transponder built for drones. It allows uncrewed aircraft to safely share the skies by communicating with air traffic control (ATC) and collision avoidance systems.
The uAvionix Ping Installer mobile application lets users install, update, and configure hardware settings for the uAvionix Ping line of ADS-B transceivers, transponders, and GPS navigation sensors. Some of the key features includes the ability to let users adjust settings like flight ID, squawk codes, and emitter type on devices such as the ping2020i, ping1090i, and ping200S. Transmit modes, like switching hardware operating states between continuous transmit, receive-only, or standby mode. As well as allowing users to connect via Wi-Fi to program and troubleshoot supported avionics and GPS payloads.

The ping20XS Control App configures and manages uAvionix ping20XS ADS-B transponder hardware. It sets flight identification parameters, updates device firmware, and monitors status diagnostics. Some of its core functions includes its ability to configure and set up aircraft identification, transponder address codes, and emitter categories. The app also allows real-time GPS lock data, operating status, and hardware health metrics. Additionally, it allows users to install software updates and adjusts communication protocols.
