2. AV-Link (Connected to AV-30 or AV-HSI)
- PC or iPad or iPhone (WiFi)
- AV-Link running 0.3.7 or later
- AV-30-C software
*AV-Link connected to just the AV-30 will update only the AV-30 that it is connected to and AV-Link
Connecting to the AV-Link Via Wi-Fi (AV-Link to AV-30):
- Power AV-Link by attaching the AV-Link to AV-30-C to provided power.
- Once the AV-Link is powered, connect to the AV-Link WiFi hotspot AV_XXXX
- Once connected, use your web browser to navigate to 192.168.5.1
- Updates can be completed following Service Bulletin for the AV-Link & AV-30-C.
*AV-Link connected to AV-HSI will update all AV-30s, AV-HSI, and AV-Link
Confirm that the AV-Link has been configured for the AV-HSI or the update will not work.
Connecting to the AV-Link via Wi-Fi (AV-Link to AV-HSI):
- In the AV-30-C installation menu, navigate to AVHSI CFG and press center knob.
- Navigate to Serial 4
- If there is an AV-30-C connected to the AV-HSI Serial 4 and Pins 8&15, set Serial 4 to AVL+AV30. Otherwise, set to AV-Link.
- Connect a PC or Tablet to the AV-Link Wi-Fi connection.
- Select “Wi-Fi Settings” in the bottom left corner.
- In the AV-HSI Settings section, specify if the AV-Link is connect to an AV-HSI with or without an AV-30-C.
- Click Save & power cycle the AV-30-C, AV-HSI, and AV-Link.
