EASA Minor Change Approvals – AV-30-C Installation on Robin (CEAPR) DR 200 / DR 300 / DR 400 Series

This article applies only to aircraft under EASA jurisdiction. It describes the two Minor Change Approvals that allow installation of the AV-30-C on specific Robin / CEAPR models.
(For US-registered aircraft the AV-30-C is installed under FAA STC SA00410BO + Approved Model List – these EASA Minor Changes do not apply.)
The AV-30-C is approved for installation on selected Robin / CEAPR aircraft via EASA Minor Change Approvals issued to S.E.A.M. (Service Electronic Aviation Marine S.A.R.L., EASA.AP209). Both approvals are based on the primary EASA STC 10075856.
There are two separate Minor Change Approvals. Always use the certificate that explicitly lists your exact aircraft model. The “Type” line on the certificate is a broad header; the Model list is the authoritative applicability.
 

1. Minor Change Approval 10078225 (28 January 2022)

Associated documentation: Technical Dossier AV 30C-DR 400 Revision 0 (or later approved revisions)

• DR 400 NGL, DR 400 RP
• DR 400/100, DR 400/120, DR 400/120 A, DR 400/120 D

• DR 400/200 I, DR 400/200 R

Important: Although the Type line mentions “DR 200, DR 300, DR 400 SERIES”, no DR 200 or DR 300 models are listed. This approval does not cover the DR315 or any other DR 200/300 aircraft.
 

2. Minor Change Approval 10079620 (01 July 2022)

Associated documentation: Technical Dossier AV 30C-DR 200/300 Revision 0 dated 27 June 2022 (or later approved revisions)
Approved models (DR 200 and DR 300 series):
 

• DR 200, DR 220, DR 220 A, DR 220 AB, DR 220 B
• DR 221, DR 221 B
• DR 250, DR 250 B, DR 250 B-160, DR 250-160
• DR 253, DR 253 B
• DR 300/108, DR 300/120, DR 300/125, DR 300/140, DR 300/180 R
• DR 315, DR 340, DR 360, DR 380

Example: A DR315 is covered by 10079620, not by 10078225.
Common limitations (both approvals):
 

• The installer must verify that this change does not create an adverse interrelationship with any other previously installed change or repair.
• Installation must follow the applicable Technical Dossier and the AV-30-C Installation Manual.
• S.E.A.M. is the approval holder.

Recommendation Have your installer coordinate with S.E.A.M. in France when using these Minor Changes.
