Sentry Receiver Updates

Sentry firmware is released inside the ForeFlight Mobile app, so a new firmware version becomes available whenever you deploy ForeFlight if an update is detected. 

Before you start, plug both the Sentry receiver and your iPad or iPhone into power and let them charge up. A firmware update that loses power partway through is the one problem this process can't recover from. 

1. Update ForeFlight Mobile from the App Store if an update is pending.
2. Power on the Sentry and connect your iPad or iPhone to the Sentry's Wi-Fi network.
3. Open ForeFlight and go to More → Devices.
4. Tap the Sentry tile, then scroll down to Device Info.
5. If an update is available, it'll be listed on the Firmware line tap it.
6. Tap Firmware Update to start.
7. Keep ForeFlight open and in the foreground until it tells you the update is finished. Don't lock the screen, switch apps, or power-cycle the Sentry while it's working.
