Tech Tip Tuesday: How to Reset Password on AV-Link

In this demonstration video, the instructions provided will help users reset the password of the AV-Link. If for some reason you set your password on the AV-Link and are unable to enter it into the AV-Link webpage, you can do the following:

1. Begin by powering down the AV-30 by holding and pressing the left button and right button until the screen goes black. Following, you will press and hold the center button until you the uAvionix logo splash screen, and the DG screen is loaded.
2. Next, you will want to go into the Install Menu of the AV-30. Press the left button to select “MENU” and press 3X until you see “INSTALL” on the screen.
   • Using the center knob, rotate to the right until you see SERIAL 3 AV LINK. You will want to make sure that you have SERIAL 3 selected.
3. Then, using the center knob, continue rotating to the right until you see “RESET AVLINK” and then press the center knob 1X to select “PRESS TO RST.”
   • The question: “Wi-Fi settings will be restored to default’s. Are you sure?” You will turn the center knob to the right to select “YES.”
   • You will then press and hold the right button to RESET.
   • The statement: “Reset initiated. Confirm settings on webpage. Press DONE to exit” will pop up. You will then press the left button 1X to select DONE.

Once you have followed all of these steps, you should be able to log on to the Wi-Fi of the AV-Link.
