Tech Tip Tuesday: How to Adjust AV-30 Brightness

The demonstration video below provides instructions on how to adjust the brightness setting for the AV-30.

The first thing you want to do is have the unit in the normal display (page 1:3). You will then press and hold the right button (HLD BRT) until you see the brightness menu pop up at the bottom of the screen.

If it is set to AUTO BRT, this means the setting is on auto brightness. If you wish to change the mode to manually set the brightness, press the right button (HLD BRT) 1X, and the screen will read MANUAL BRT.

For adjusting the manual brightness, you will use the center knob to adjust—turn the knob right to increase brightness and turn the knob to the left to decrease the brightness. Something to note is that the unit does take a while to adjust the brightness level—so take your time while adjusting.

When you are done, press the left button 1X in order to select DONE. And that is how you adjust the brightness setting on the AV-30 unit.
