Power Supply Box Pole Installation

This instructional video and set of instructions assumes that you have already completed the assemble of the power supply with the pole mounting brackets.

The installation tools required are:

• Phillips head screwdriver
• Heavy-duty pair of side snips
• Zip ties for cable management and,
• Drill with an 8mm socket is recommended

As for the installation, please carefully read the following steps OR watch the instructional video:

1. First, loosen the nuts on the back of each of the band clamps until it is completely opened. You can use the open socket of an interchangeable screwdriver or a drill with 8 mm socket.
2. Next, place the supply box in an upright position, next to the pole tighten the band clamps around it.
3. Secure the clamps by using the same screwdriver to tighten the clamps.
4. Once threaded, you can switch to the power drill to accelerate the process and secure it tightly in the desired position.
5. As a final touch, use the screwdriver to secure by hand.
6. Check the box stays in place and does not shift.
7. Trim the excess band clamp to 2” or 3” with  heavy-duty side snips. The sharp leftover ends can be trimmed.
8. Once in place remember to secure the 1/10 power cable to the pole or the nearby infrastructure using a zip tie.

You have now completed the installation.
