Upgrading Software Versions
To update your Casia G device to the latest software version, carefully read the following instructions OR watch the instructional video:
- Log into FlightDeck
- Under the "Devices" menu, there will be two banners at the top. The yellow banner indicates that you are on an older software version. The red banner is a reminder to ensure that the device is powered on and has a stable internet connection, in order to complete the update.
- Scroll down to the "Configuration" section and select the blue icon to "Edit device configuration." This will open the device details page.
- Navigate to the "Flight-Core Version" drop-down list and select the latest release.
- Once selected, the host software version will automatically update and a green banner will appear at the top of the page reading: "Version change request sent," confirming the software change request.
- Note that the update of the software version will cause the device configuration settings to default back to its original settings. Make sure to review and set the configuration settings as needed.
- To apply the update, click the blue "Save & Push" button. This will take you back to the device homepage, where you will see banner notifications alerting you that the software version and configuration settings are updating.
- The "Host Sofware Status" will update to "Ready," which will cause the device to reboot, and the connection to go offline.
- Once back online, the software status will begin updating. When complete, the status will show "Ready" with the new software version number next to it.
That is it. You have successfully upgraded your software version on your Casia device.
