This instructional video, as well as the written instructions below, will provide the necessary information for you to learn how to upload data from Casia G.
Your Casia G system has a 1TB SSD that stores data on detected intruder aircraft and log files. You may want to upload this data to FlightDeck to use for regulatory purposes, to better understand the performance of the system, or to view video or images of detections.
The 1TB internal SSD can record about eight hours of continuous video. Time can be extended if you set it to record only video detections. Additionally, when storage is at capacity, the oldest video stored will be overwritten.
To upload video and other data from Casia G, follow the steps below:
- Log into FlightDeck. Ensure that your device is powered up and connected to the internet.
- In FlightDeck, there is a “Devices” sub-menu. Click into “Devices” and select your device from that list.
- From the “Devices” page, you will note a drop-down menu next to the “Go” button on the right-hand-side. Select “Manage Device Data” from that menu. Then press “Go.”
- This will open up a page with a data table listing every instance the device was power cycled. This includes the time and date the data was collected, the duration of the video, and the number of detections. From this page, you can choose to delete or upload all video data or select specific rows to either upload or delete.
- In this instructional video, specific rows are selected and then “Upload Selected” is clicked. This will prompt a window to pop-up asking: “Confirm Data Upload: Do you want to upload the selected data?” To confirm, press the blue “Upload Selected Data.”
- NOTE: For these functions, make sure to plan ahead, as some of the uploads will take some time. Especially if your internet connection is slow.
