Casia G Masking
The following instructions will guide you on how to apply image masking to the cameras of your Casia device.
The procedure of masking is required in order to avoid recurring false positives. A false positive is when the system regularly sees something in its field of view, such as a car, a tree branch, a lamp post, or another protruding object, but misidentifies it as an intruder aircraft like a plan or helicopter.
- To begin, log in “FlightDeck.”
- Select the “Devices” menu option, then click on your device.
- Once in your device page, select “Manage Image Masking” from the drop-down menu on the top right-hand side. Then press the blue icon that reads “Go.”
- To see the instructions, click the blue information icon on the top right corner of the page.
- Next, select “Add Mask Region” blue icon on the top left hand-side of the page, to add a new mask.
- Drag and pull vertices to create a shape that covers the desired mask region. Add as many mask regions as needed.
- If more aggressive masking is required, it may be easier to select the entire region below the skyline.
- Once masking is completed, click on the blue “Save Mask” icon at the bottom right corner of the page, in order to push the mask to the selected camera.
- Repeat the process for any camera with recurring false positives.
